AdventHealth Primary Care Network is seeking a Float Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team. This role offers a supportive practice environment, broad clinical exposure, and the opportunity to care for patients across the lifespan while maintaining a sustainable work-life balance. 
This model focuses on delivering comprehensive care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care. We place a strong emphasis on patient-centered care within the network through patient engagement, digital health tools, cultural sensitivity, and accessible locations.

Key Responsibilities  
• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to pediatric through geriatric patients, including women’s health  
• Deliver independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions  
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including labs and imaging  
• Monitor treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists as needed  
• Provide clinical supervision to Advanced Practice Providers and care teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications 
• Board-certified in Family or Internal Medicine; board-eligible candidates will be considered if certification can be obtained before hire
• Experience supervising Advanced Practice Providers (APRN & PA-C)
• Comfortable with minor office-based procedures 
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain before hire
• DEA license or ability to obtain before hire
• BLS required; ACLS (preferred)

Family Medicine, without OB

Location: Haines City, FL - Specialty: Family Medicine, without OB

AdventHealth Primary Care+ is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physicians for a Part-Time Float, outpatient role within our team-based primary care model. This opportunity is designed for physicians who value whole-family care, continuity with patients, and a collaborative practice environment that supports both high-quality care and work–life balance.

In this role, you will work closely with Advanced Practice Providers and Care Teams to deliver comprehensive primary care in a modern, well-supported clinic focused on preventive care, chronic disease management, and long-term patient relationships.

This Provider will need to be able to work 18-30 hours per week and be available to work full weekday and weekend shifts.

Location: Altamonte Springs, FL - Specialty: Hospice and Palliative Medicine

AdventHealth Hospice Care is seeking an Associate Medical Director to oversee the medical components of the hospice plan of care for each patient admitted to their team and to provide leadership and guidance to the hospice staff physicians. 

As the leader of the care team, this physician and other interdisciplinary team members will focus on collaboration and delivering the highest level of patient care. Our interdisciplinary teams consist of: RN Case Manager, CNA, Social Worker, Patient Care Manager, and Chaplain. The physician will manage and oversee patients in Long Term Care facilities, as well as patients in their homes, throughout the service area of Orange, Seminole, and Osceola Counties. 

As a leader amongst the staff physicians, this physician will oversee administration of medical services for the hospice program. 

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO 
  • Ability to receive an unrestricted Florida Medical License 
  • Preferred but not required: Board certification or training in Hospice and Palliative Care 
  • Eligible to participate as a provider in the Medicare and Medicaid programs (including any successor program to either) 
  • Team physicians are responsible for the management of patients on 2 teams, including managing medication needs/cost per patient. Each team consists of 70-90 patients 
  • Monday – Friday 8 am-5 pm schedule, primarily managing patient care over the phone: will rotate nights and weekend call coverage 
  • Responsible for medication management, including e-prescribing of medications daily
